Gastropexy is a relatively simple surgery in which the stomach wall is surgically fixed to the abdominal wall. It is often done as a preventative measure against Gastric Dilitation and Volvulus, sometimes referred to as canine bloat. This surgery can be done alone or when a spay or neuter is performed.
